Mixing Square, Rectangular and Oval Tables in One Dining Collection

Plan a dining collection using its actual table sizes and shared armchair. Keep model quantities, seating arrangements and indoor or covered-area versions distinct.

Using one collection across a dining room can keep the furniture visually connected without giving every area the same table. The purchasing problem is to turn that idea into a model-by-model order, not simply request a mixed collection.

Start with the three documented shapes

The Bamboo Coastal Dining Collection provides a 70 × 70 cm square top, a 140 × 75 cm rectangular top and a 160 × 80 cm oval top. All three tables are 75 cm high. Its shared armchair measures 62 × 60 × 78 cm, with a seat height of 46 cm.

Test each arrangement with the same chair

Place the 62 cm-wide chair outlines around each proposed table, including chairs at the ends. The width of a tabletop is not the clearance between its supports. Ask for the angular cross-support dimensions and show the chair’s approach to the table.

Treat the oval table’s upper seat count as conditional. Before ordering for six, check the actual positions, place settings and circulation with the project team. Neither a rounded end nor a larger top automatically creates another usable dining position.

Issue model quantities rather than one collection total

Give each table shape its own quantity and separately state the chair quantity. If the buyer changes some square tables to oval tables, revise both the seating allocation and the furniture schedule. Do not keep the old chair count merely because the finish palette is unchanged.

Record which pieces share a finish and fabric, and which have a different approved version. A collection name is not a complete set definition. Confirm the quote unit and included components with the supplier.

Separate an indoor version from a covered-area proposal

This collection has indoor upholstery information and a proposed covered-area material route. Covered use requires suitable finish, fabric and project approval. Do not combine the two as one undifferentiated specification or turn pending fabric properties into guaranteed performance.

The product remains in its assigned Lounge Chairs & Sofas collection category; its table options are described on the product page. For a mixed-table enquiry, send a marked layout, quantities by shape, chair count, finish and intended environment. The outcome should be a confirmed combination, not a promise that every illustrated arrangement has already been validated.
