Bamboo Retreat Private Tea Room is a contemporary interior project designed around a quiet tea experience. A long tea table anchors the room, while coordinated seating, illuminated storage, open display shelving and vertical slatted details create a cohesive space with a warm, architectural character.
The client wanted a private tea room that felt calm, contemporary and distinctly crafted rather than decorative. Furniture needed to support tea preparation, conversation and display while maintaining clean circulation and a visually uncluttered atmosphere.
We developed a coordinated engineered-bamboo furniture system centered on a substantial tea table with rounded corners and ribbed detailing. Custom cabinets, open display shelving and vertical screens extend the same material language throughout the room, with integrated lighting adding depth and warmth.
A generous table with softened corners, dark finish and vertical ribbed end panels creates a strong focal point.
Vertical detailing introduces rhythm and partial screening while illuminated shelves provide a refined backdrop for tea objects and décor.
Lightweight, open-frame seating keeps the room visually airy while maintaining a consistent dark bamboo palette.
Warm-toned storage and display cabinets organize tea ware and supplies without interrupting the clean architectural lines.
