Bamboo Hospitality Lounge & Cultural Experience Space
A warm public lounge environment where custom bamboo furniture, display systems and decorative screens create a refined setting for waiting, tea service and regional cultural presentation.
FUJIAN MINGXI HIGH-SPEED RAILWAY STATION
This VIP lounge combines hospitality functions with a distinctive bamboo-led interior language. Warm-toned furniture, open display shelving, lattice screens and feature wall elements bring a natural and culturally rooted character to a contemporary high-speed railway setting.
The lounge needed to feel calm, welcoming and distinctly local while remaining suitable for a busy public transportation environment. Furniture, display functions and decorative elements had to work together as one coherent interior system rather than as isolated pieces.
We developed a coordinated bamboo package built around a central tea-service area, open storage and display units, lightweight lounge seating, vertical lattice partitions and a decorative cultural feature wall. Repeated bamboo tones and linear details create visual continuity across the space.
DESIGN LANGUAGE
Three defining elements shape the lounge's balance of hospitality, craftsmanship and regional identity.
A substantial bamboo tea table anchors the room and supports informal reception, tea service and conversation within the waiting lounge.
Modular shelving provides practical storage while presenting tea ware, gifts and cultural objects as part of the interior experience.
Traditional lattice proportions frame graphic art and bamboo imagery, translating local visual references into a clean contemporary architectural composition.

Bamboo gives the lounge a warm and distinctive material identity. Consistent tone, carefully controlled edges, repeatable lattice geometry and coordinated furniture detailing allow multiple components to read as one complete project package.
